Artist profile by Little Universe

Kia ora! Shalom! I am a multi-disciplinary, queer, Jewish artist based in Te Whanganui-a-tara, Aotearoa (Wellington, NZ).

I am deeply intrigued by symmetry and the human experience of perceiving ourselves as pieces of our ancestors and the universe itself. I am passionate about Art Therapy and I have been working with people with disabilities since 2011. In 2013 I did a certificate in Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design before moving to Te Whanganui-a-Tara to study Fine Arts at Massey University. From 2017-2019 I lived in Montreal and worked under master ceramicist Pascale Girardin, during this time I went to Barcelona where I completed a Foundation Certificate in Arts Therapy. In 2020 I returned to Aotearoa to complete my Honours year of Fine Arts at Massey University, focusing on sculpture. I have exhibited solo and in groups in Aotearoa and Canada.
